Doug has played soccer since he was a child, garnering All-State and All-Met first team honors when playing for Eleanor Roosevelt High School of Science and Technology in Prince George's County, MD, back in the early eighties. He still plays on geezer teams in Sterling and at Loudoun Soccer Park. He's excited to bring Loudoun Stampede to life to serve the community, soccer, and Loudoun United FC. Let's make that stadium rock!!!
Chief Operating Officer
Doug grew up in West Texas playing that other kind of football including High School ball for Odessa Permian of Friday Night Lights fame. After graduating from the US Naval Academy, Doug was commissioned a Marine, with Field Artillery as his field of choice. Following a "hardship" tour in Hawaii with his lovely new bride, a tour at the Marine Barracks at 8th & I brought him back to the mid-Atlantic. Soccer, rugby, marathons, and chasing kids kept him busy for the next 21 years, including coaching both kids through 14 seasons of soccer. Getting in on the ground floor of a new team and fan club is an exciting challenge, and we can't wait to make the Stampede a recognized force at home and away!
Adam was born in Jacksonville, Florida but grew up in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and Chesapeake, Virginia. From there, he attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA and upon graduation he received his commission as an Officer in the United States Army. Today, he still serves in the Army Reserves as the Commander of a Watercraft Company in Maryland. On the civilian-side, Adam works as a consultant for the Department of Homeland Security in Arlington, VA but he and his wife have lived in Loudoun County now for 2 years. He has been a part of the Loudoun Stampede Supporter’s Group since its creation and runs the Communications and Social Media for the organization. Adam feels strongly about community service and giving back to the community that he now calls home and wants to incorporate that service in his role with Loudoun Stampede.
Rick grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia and played football, basketball, and baseball in high school. After graduating from the University of Rochester, he was commissioned in the Navy and served for the next 14 years as a pilot on several transport type aircraft. When the airlines didn’t call, in 1981 Rick segued into the related field of air traffic control at Dulles Airport retiring from the FAA in 2016 after 34 years as tower/radar controller and staff support specialist. When he found out Loudoun County was going to have a professional soccer team, he started hanging out with the fan club founding members who began teaching him “Soccer 101.” Rick is called ‘the Mayor’ because he likes to share his enthusiasm for Loudoun United and Loudoun Stampede with those he meets throughout the community.

Born and raised in Loudoun County, only having moved away to go to college in North Carolina, Lindsey knew she always wanted to come back to Loudoun to begin her career. After working for Loudoun County Parks and Recreation and graduating college, she began working as an elementary teacher for Loudoun County Public Schools. Lindsey loves how excited her students become when they tell her about their weekend sporting events, and she is excited that Loudoun Stampede & Loudoun United, will offer more recreational outing options for kids in the area. In her spare time, Lindsey enjoys the great outdoors and living in Western Loudoun with her husband and two dogs.
As a 20+ year Loudoun resident, Tom is excited to see a professional soccer team come to the area. Playing youth soccer with organizations such as LYSA and Ashburn Soccer Club, as well as High School ball, he is familiar with the widespread soccer culture in the area. Tom is looking forward to partnering with the community to build this culture even further and make our boys proud that they represent us in the USL.
